Our History

Built in 1912 by banker C.E. Dilworth, this Greek Revival mansion was once home to the Dilworth family. In the 1950s, it served as dormitories for medical staff from Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital. Purchased by the Boothe Family in 1961, it was later converted back to a private residence. After years of vacancy, the property was renovated in 2000 and has since offered  visitors elegant accommodations, adorned with fine antiques, since 2002.

A wonderful stay with fantastic hosts!
As a first-time bed and breakfast guest, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but Vanessa and Brian set the bar incredibly high. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, friendly, and attentive. I loved learning about the history of the property and the surrounding area from them—their knowledge is top-notch! They truly made me feel at home. I will definitely be back

Within walking distance of charming antique shops Belle Oaks Inn is a perfect weekend getaway! This stunning plantation style mansion turned Inn will take you back to balls and tea time. Each room is decorated to perfection and the grounds are perfectly manicured! Best of all was our amazing host, Vanessa! She went above and beyond her hosting duties. From fresh baked cookies upon our arrival, a private tour of the grounds/mansion and a lovely historical account of the home’s origins, she had it all down to a T. Not only that, but after returning from our time at the Ottine Mineral Springs Vanessa was waiting for us with chilled wine and a cake she baked herself to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Truly a wonderful experience! I cannot wait to return!

We stayed here after a day at Ottine Mineral Spring! Vanessa and Brian were amazing hosts while we were there. We had homemade muffins in our room the first night. We asked Vanessa if she had any chocolate- she did not..BUT 30 minutes later she surprised us and brought an assortment of chocolate she had bought from a store down the road! What a surprise for our girlfriend overnight trip! Then an amazing full breakfast that Vanessa prepared and then Brian gave us a tour and story of the mansion! Double thumbs up for Belle Oaks Inn! Thank you!! Joanne S. June 2-3, 2026
