Boothe Bridal Suite

This large comfortable room is furnished with beautiful fine French antiques in the Louis Phillip style circa 1880’s. Elegant draperies, comfortable furnishings, and an antique Aubisson rug give the room a rich warm ambience with a fine French flair. The room has a queen sized bed, sitting area complete with a fireplace, refrigerator, coffee bar, 24inch television and VCR. The opulent marble bathroom includes five star amenities such as a whirlpool tub, luxurious bath robes, hairdryer and a selection of fine soaps, shampoos and bath gels. Private French doors open the room up to the veranda and gardens. The room is a tribute to the Boothe family who were former owners of the home whose original oil portraits are on display.

Riata Room

Weekdays $95.00 - Friday-Sunday $125.00

This room is a tribute to the grandeur and style of the Texas cattle barons of centuries past which are so much a part of the Gonzales area history. Riata meaning “rope” in Spanish was the name of the famed Texas cattle ranch owned by Jordan Benedict and his wife, played by Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor in the epic movie Giant. Rich furnishings with reflections of the west fill this large comfortable room which is reminiscent of the lavish lifestyle of the cattle barons portrayed by this film. The room includes a large 1840’s queen-sized full tester bed dressed in a goose down mattress, duvet, pillows and 320 thread count sheets and a hand made quilt. The seating area has a leather chesterfield sofa and a cowhide upholstered wingback chair. The room is complete with a refrigerator, coffee bar, television, VCR, robes, hairdryer and a selection of fine soaps, shampoos and bath gels.

Hunt Room

Weekdays $75.00 - Friday-Sunday $95.00

This room has a warm elegant English Hunter/Jumper theme. It is furnished with rich mahogany traditional pieces including a large queen sized four poster rice bed dressed in goose down duvet, pillows, 320 thread count sheets and a hand made quilt. It is decorated with warm Ralph Lauren shades steeped in the traditions of fine English county homes. The room is complete with large comfortable club chairs flanking a fireplace, coffee bar, television, VCR, robes, hair dryer and a selection of fine soaps, shampoos and bath gels. French doors leading to a private balcony make a great spot to take in the views of the gardens as you sip a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of gourmet coffee in the morning.

Teal Room

Weekdays $75.00 - Friday-Sunday $95.00

The room is named for the rich warm teal color that dominates its décor. The room is furnished in elegant fine Victorian antiques including a queen sized bed dressed in a goose down mattress, duvet, pillows, 320 thread count sheets and a hand made quilt. The room is complete with a large comfortable club chair, coffee bar stocked with gourmet coffee, television, VCR, robes, hairdryer and a selection of fine soaps, shampoos and bath gels.

Carriage House

Weekdays $95 for use of 1 bedroom and $145 for use of both bedrooms
Friday-Sunday $125 for use of 1 bedroom and $175 for use of both bedrooms

The building which once served as the original carriage house for the property has been transformed into a very comfortable and tastefully decorated suite of guest rooms which can accommodate up to four guests. It has a tastefully decorated central living area which includes comfortable furnishings, television, VCR, and a full kitchen stocked with gourmet coffees and snacks. It opens to two bedrooms, both with private baths. Toile draperies and wallpapers give the first bedroom a country French flair. It has a king-sized bed that can also be converted into two twin beds if the guest desires. Rich ruby tones give the other bedroom a warm and elegant feeling. This room has a queen sized bed, television, VCR and coffee bar. The beds in both rooms are dressed in a goose down mattresses, duvets, pillows and 320 thread count sheets and hand made quilts. Bathroom amenities include bath robes, hair dryers, and a selection of fine soaps, shampoos, and bath gels.
